Answers:

If I am traveling alone will the price change?
You will only be charged extra if you request single accommodations. Otherwise we will pair you up with another guest, who is traveling solo. Single supplementation fees vary from trip to trip, and can be found on the info page for your preferred tour.

Do I need to be a rider to do one of your bicycle tours?
No, you don't need to be a cyclist to do one of our bicycle tours. While we design our tours to cater to cyclists but non-cyclists are always welcome to join our tours. We provide a detailed list of activities in each city we stay in to help you explore all the intricacies of the historic places we visit. .

Why are your bicycle tours priced in euros?
All accommodation and travel fees are priced in euros, so by pricing our tours in euros it saves us from altering our cycling tour fees based on drastic currency fluctuations. We do offer the option to pay in USD, if you are interested in this option just contact us to find out all the details and the conversion rate.

How much can I expect to be riding on a cycling tour?
Our tours are designed for individuals with a good level of fitness. Each riding day you can expect to ride an average of 80 km, some rides will cover up to 140km. Unless specified all rides will be van supported, so there will be several spaces in the van available for riders who would like an alternate starting point, or have to retire from a ride early. We do take lunch stops along the way, to relax and enjoy the scenery. Our tours do include rest days with no organized ride, usually on race viewing days.

Where can I find information about other tours offered?
All of our available tours are listed on the Tour page. We are currently working on several other tour ideas, you can expect to find those details here once they become available. If there is a specific tour that you are looking for, we are always up for suggestions if we aren't already working on it. Is dinner included every evening?
No, but we do provide several dinners throughout the bicycle tour. It is a known fact that you cannot always please everyone, so we have decided to include several dinners at some great restaurants, and allow you to choose your own dining experiences on other evenings. At the start of the tour you will be given a tour package detailing many things about our destinations, including several dining recommendations. The Hotel receptions will be more than happy to make a reservation for you, or even make a suggestion of their own.

How fast are your rides on your cycling tours?
Generally our rides are around 28kph average (17.5mph). Each ride can be adapted to go slower or faster if the group desires, but our tours are designed for more of a vacation / leisure time, rather than a fast paced group ride. If you wish to get in the speed and the distance please consider contacting us about arranging a training camp for yourself and a group of friends you would like to train with. We can arrange the camp around a specific race or event to allow both the training you would like and the sightseeing you desire.

Do you offer any returning guests discounts?
YES! We want to reward anyone who returns to one of our tours. Chainring Tours offers the following discounts for returning guests:

1st Returning Bicycle Tour	10% off the cost of the trip
2nd Returning Bicycle Tour	15% off the cost of the trip
3rd Returning Bicycle Tour	20% off the cost of the trip

Do you offer any group discounts?
YES! We offer groups looking to book on bicycle tours a discount. The minimum group size is 4 and from there we offer varying levels of discount depending on the group size and the availablity of the tour. E-mail us and we can discuss what we can do for your group.

How are your tours less expensive than others?
Our tours are less expensive because we live in Europe and know where to get the best deals on things. We NEVER sacrafice quality for cost on our cycling tours and always provide a high level of service on all of our tours.
