UCI Masters World Cyclocross Championships

This winter Chainring Tours will take you on a bicycle racing tour through the mud and dirt of Belgium; all while exploring the regions history, lifestyle, and culinary delights. Enjoy (or should we say, revel in the pain) of four days of cyclocross racing in Belgium, including the UCI Masters World Cyclocross Championships, all the while enjoying Belgium's delights (can we say, Beer and Friets!)

We have limited our bicycle tour to only 6 participants to guarantee that we can provide the personal and detail-oriented attention that will ensure your trip is nothing more than a pure pleasure. Chainring Tours uses our local knowledge of Belgium to bring you all its wonderful nuances and history.

You will delight in the comforts of home while staying in Oudenaarde at our guest house, The Chain Stay. Located in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, you will enjoy no hotel transfers and the benefits of being centrally located to all the racing action. Brief Itinerary: (subject to change)

Friday January 15th:	Arrival at Brussels Zaventem and transport to Oudenaarde, Belgium. All day snacking buffet for arriving guests.
Saturday January 16th:	Race Day - Langemark, Belgium followed by a group dinner
Sunday January 17th:	Race Day - Kasterlee, Belgium
Monday January 18th:	Recovery Day - Short bike ride followed by a visit to the city of Gent
Tuesday January 19th:	Training Day - Morning ride followed by a visit to the city of Brugge (dinner included)
Wednesday January 20th:	Training Day - Quick training ride in the morning followed by a free evening to do the activity of your choice.
Thursday January 21st:	Training Day - Oudenaarde Market and a quick city tour followed by a visit to the Tour of Flanders museum. After lunch we will do a ride around the area hitting many of the famous climbs of the Tour of Flanders. The evening will include a beer tasting night at the house.
Friday January 22nd:	Pre-ride of the World CX course followed by a pre-race dinner at the house. We will also visit Van Eyck in Aalst, a large bike shop to do those last minute shopping before leaving.
Saturday January 23rd:	Race Day - UCI World Cyclocross Championships - Mol, Belgium. followed by a group dinner
Sunday January 24th:	Race Day - Assende, Belgium (or if the group chooses, watch the Hoogerheide World Cup Cyclocross race) followed by a group dinner
Monday January 25th:	Depart Belgium via Brussels Zaventem.

Bicycle Tour Includes:

• Brussels Zaventem airport pick-up and drop-off on the first and last day of the bicycle tour. (Train station drop off and pick up can be arranged on request)
• Full race day support.
• Supported rides; including a bicycle tour leader, energy drinks and food.
• Multiple race days of mud and sweat through Belgium's hardest cross races.
• Dining experiences, 6 included, showcasing the regions finest specialties.
• Massage Therapy treatments can be arranged throughout the bicycle tour (at additional cost)
• A detailed package with historical information, points of interest, café and restaurant suggestions, recommendations for museums, shopping, souvenirs, and where you can find the best waffles or frites.
• Pre-Tour training advice and guidance available upon request to all participants.
• A warm-home environment for your stay in Belgium. Our home includes a fully equipped kitchen, large bike room, dedicated bike washing area, internet and laundry included with your stay.
